OFF CAPRI is a stunning example of a coastal scene by the artist. Painted along the rugged coast of Capri, Giordano has captured it all: the cloudy skies, choppy seas, sailboats skimming the deep blue waters, waves and foam, rocky shore and seabirds. AH, WHAT A DAY !!
Giordano Felice was born in Naples where he studied art. He was influenced by the Italian Impressionist, Antonino Leto (1844-1913), but created an unmistakable style all his own.
Giordano painted in oils and was a prolific artist. He exhibited in numerous Italian Salons of Rome, Naples, Genoa, Milan and Florence. He also had exhibitions elsewhere in Europe and in the United states, including in such prestigious New York galleries as Kennedy Gallery, Grand Central Gallery, and Graham Gallery.
