Wife of the sculptor Harry Andrew Jackson (1924-2011).
Harry was active in Wyoming and known for Western
subjects.
Jack Vance Fitzer was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where he was a student of both art and music, and for a time taught musical composition at Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Pursuing his artistic career, a special showing of his artwork was held at the Artists Gallery in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1951. He moved to the west coast in 1953, and his paintings were subsequently exhibited both in Los Angeles and in New York City. He passed away in Los Angeles on January 5, 1960.
