Valerie Trozelle has been deaf since infancy due to a “miracle” drug that left her with extensive nerve damage. Accompanying her everywhere she goes is her special service hearing dog named Roxie who acts as her ears.
Animals hold a special place in her heart, and on her small ranch she has eight horses which she trains. ASHLEY, painted with such remarkable detail, is one of her favorites! Valerie’s skill and passion for painting resulted in many awards at prestigious art shows.
Valerie is now semi-retired and enjoys life on her ranch in Garner Valley, California, spending time with her husband, four children, seven grandchildren and her horses!
